Job Description:

  • Assist in the development and preparation of the strategic business plan and annual operating budget. Provide the necessary monitoring and oversight to ensure that corrective actions are taken timely so that budgeted and forecasted results are achieved. Provide monthly variance analysis and explanation as required.
  • Finalization of monthly/quarterly and yearly MIS & reporting statements to the stakeholders.
  • Update and implement all necessary business policies and accounting practices. Ensure that all company finance practices are in compliance with company policy.
  • Ensure compliance of applicable taxes, viz., income tax, withholding taxes, VAT, Service Tax, etc. and all regulatory reporting is completed timely and accurately and the accounting and reporting in line with the applicable accounting standards and completion of statutory required reporting.
  • Provide management oversight of staff performing AP processing of invoices – Both Domestic & International
  • Establishes Accounting goals, to ensure timely, accurate & appropriate management reports, Finalisation of accounts & its Financials including capitalisation & all banking & investment transactions & All Tax compliance.
  • Preparation of Projections & Budgets and Cash Flow Statement 
  • Working closely with the CFO to understand the financial needs of business while making strategic decisions
  • Authorizing the Vendor and supplier payments. Responsible for compliance of various legal and statutory and allied laws.
  • Providing assistance in the Company Law Matters
  • Develops and executes plans and programs, both short and long range
  • Monitors  variances with budget etc.
  • Timely coordination with internal & external auditors, Tax Audits (Govt departments)
  • Ensure all costing & budgetary controls to achieve its objectives and within designated budgets.
  • Exposure to ERP Implementation – SAP
  • Good/strong knowledge of Taxation
  • Have sound knowledge on Forecasting and Cash flow / Profitability Projections
  • Hands on exposure on MIS and Analysis of various Reports to be presented to the Top Management
  • Should have very good understanding on Analyzing Monthly P&L , BS and Cash flows and take decisions on Financial Capital Management
  • Responsible for filing of Income tax returns, IT-TDS Return, Service Tax Returns, Profession Tax, Provident Fund and Shop and establishment License including all documentation and filing of timely returns.

Skills Required / Education Qualification
Mandatorily Must Be a Chartered Accountant +10 years of Post Qualification experience

• Strategic database build
• Manage PR in co-ordination with the Exhibition Director/Manager
• Coordinate the design and production of all marketing collateral, including sales brochures, conference brochures, visitor tickets, print advertisements, web banners/emails etc
• Use new media tools such as social platforms to create new marketing channels
• Copy write and proof all marketing materials in conjunction with Exhibition Director/Manager
• Update and adhere to agreed marketing budget
• Provide KPI reports for update meetings with Group Marketing Manager &/Or Exhibition Director/Manager

  11. Delegate administrative functions to assistants where possible;
