Officer - Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) Opening, Mumbai Location


Designation:
Officer - Health, Safety & Environment (HSE)
Function: Corporate Administration
Reports Into:    Sr. Manager - Health, Safety & Environment (HSE)

Main Responsibilities/Accountabilities:

•  Research and understand the specific regulations and statutory HSE compliance requirement of each region/country/state
• Create process document/SOPs, policies in line with Company Management System and obtain sign off from key business stakeholders.
• Coordinate with SPoCs / stakeholders of other business functions like Administration, IT, BCM, etc for:
• Standardization of HSE policies and practices across all regions of the Company
• Implementation of country/region specific HSE policies, regulations and statutes in the respective Company sites/locations
• Implementation of ISO 14001 and 18001 standards in the identified the Company sites/locations
• Implementation of initiatives recommended / agreed by the Green desk
• Improvement or upgradation initiatives undertaken for audit gap closure
• Conducting Monthly / Quarterly progress or status reviews
• Closure of audit findings and various reporting requirement
• Conduct bi-annual site audits for all sites across all regions of the Company for Health, Safety and Environment

Information Security - General Security Responsibilities:

• Adhering to Information Security Policies and Procedures of the Company
• Ensuring compliance to Information Security Policies and Procedures

Client Specific/ Client Oriented:

• Prepare ad hoc reports for clients as & when required.

Occassional Responsibilities:  
• Manage stakeholders from other business functions (e.g. Administration, Finance, IT, etc)

Qualification (Education):
    Any Graduate

Desired Years of Experience: 5 years or more with minimum 1 year of experience in either of the Health, Safety & Environment areas.

Desired Industry Exposure:  ITES, BPO, MI Reporting, Audits

Job Summary: Responsible for safeguarding company property & staff on company premises. Liaise with all departments within the organization, vendors as well as government bodies.

Responsibilities


  • Manage the Physical Security department for the Company  across all regions
  • Create Policies in line with the Company Management System and obtain approvals.
  • Ensure Implementation by all site Admin and BCM leads
  • Conduct Quarterly/Monthly reviews with Regional Administration and BCM Managers
  • MI reporting on department performance and initiatives on a monthly, quarterly and bi-annual basis
  • Conduct bi-annual Physical Security audits of all sites across all regions of the Company 
  • Manage external and internal Health, Safety and Environment and Physical Security audits including follow up with relevant department for closure of audit findings
  • Undertake implementation / upgradation projects at all sites across all regions of the Company 
  • Provide inputs on all new and refurbishment projects within all regions of the Company. All site Admin / project leads must obtain Security sign off for all such projects prior to implementation
  • Provide SME support Security related matters for all regions of the Company.
  • Electronic Security design including quantity and specifications for all new and refurbishment projects, Vendor selection, deployment and handover to Business Unit.
General Security Responsibilities:

  • Adhering to Information Security Policies and Procedures of the Company
  • Ensuring compliance to Information Security Policies and Procedures


Specific Information Security Responsibilities:


§  Ensure reportees comply with the security policy and procedure of the Company 

§  Understand and Comply with Information Security Policies and Procedures, and report all security incidents.

§  Ensure the audit non-compliances are fixed within the stipulated timelines.

§  Protect information entrusted to him.       

§  Follow the information labeling and handling procedures based on the classification level of the asset.

§  Follow the Clear Screen and Clear Desk Policy.

§  Adhere to the Internet Code of Conduct, email usage policy and customer information and data security policy.

§  Comply with the Non Disclosure Agreement.



TEAM RELATED:


§  Coach and mentor team members enabling them to manage and constantly improve their delivery standards.
