Sponsorship Manager [Jr to Mid level openings] - Reputed Exhibitions Company, Mumbai


Company: An Integrated Marketing Services firm, a young start up company which offers Marketing Solutions to some of the biggest names in the Corporate world, including Research & Analytics, Marketing Database Management; A Direct Marketing Solutions provider with a strong domain knowledge and technology skills in below-the-line (BTL) marketing space across business-to-business (B2B) and business-to-customer (B2C) segments. 

It offers a wide range of specialized data-centric business & marketing solutions impacting & improving profitability of businesses for SMEs, Large Corporates & MNCs. These solutions span over Consulting, Data & Data Management and Direct Marketing Campaigns space of below-the-line Marketing.

Location: Saki Vihar Road, Powai, Mumbai

Current Ctc: Should be between 3 to 10 lacs p.a
Designation: Sponsorship Manager [Jr to Mid level openings] – 3 to 5 openings

The Sponsorship & Exhibit Sales Manager is responsible for raising money through the sale of sponsorship packages for conferences by targeting various companies, organizations and
associations. The Manager creates sponsorship and exhibitor packages according to client specifications or management approvals. The Manager attends weekly company meetings, sales update meetings and conference planning meetings as required.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (other duties may be assigned):
  1. Utilize telephone solicitation, electronic and written correspondence and face-to-face meetings as tools in order to reach and exceed the budgeted sponsorship target for each conference/exhibition/event
  2. Research and develop a list of potential sponsors for each conference;
  3. Research and develop a list of potential exhibitors when required;
  4. Develop and maintain relationships with existing and potential sponsorship clients and exhibitors;
  5. Keep precise records of conversations with all clients, sponsors and exhibitors;
  6. Update the company database as required;
  7. Invoice sponsors and exhibitors once agreements have been reached;
  8. Coordinate various services for clients;
  9. Assist in preparing promotional material to advertise sales opportunities;
  10. Maintain knowledge of conference timelines and sponsorship deadlines;
  11. Delegate administrative functions to assistants where possible;
  12. Meet with trade and professional organizations and other groups to organize, promote and discuss company conferences / trade show services; and professionally represent the company at all times.
  13. Approaching various Corporates /Entities for participation & sponsorships for the company’s various domestic & International events & exhibitions.
  14. Co-ordinating with Senior Management & Sales/Events/Exhibitions Productions teams.
  15. Collating & following up with the various sponsors.
  16. Setting, following up & reaching goals & deadlines.
