Team Leader - Analytics - Mumbai

The person will be responsible to build Predictive Analytics products for The Company’s Customers. We are looking for highly motivated and qualified Team Leader to be part of this development.  You will be involved in building up high-performance, reliable platform products, and deploying them to enable predictive capabilities for businesses. You will work closely with Product Management, Client Management & Analytics teams for defining and designing the product.

Primary Responsibilities:

- Responsible for the development of data analytical software systems (web & windows).
- Works with customers, business analysts, and team members to understand business requirements that drive the analysis and design of quality technical solutions.
- Provide the team with a vision of the project objectives
- Motivate and inspire team members
Facilitate problem solving and collaboration
- Ensure discussions and decisions lead toward closure
- Intervene when necessary to aid the group in resolving issues
- Encourage creativity, risk-taking, and constant improvement
- Ensure deliverables are prepared to satisfy the project requirements, cost and schedule
- Keep the project manager and product committee informed of task accomplishment, issues and status
- Escalate issues which cannot be resolved by the team
- Provide status reporting of team activities against the program plan or schedule
- Participates in the full systems life cycle with solution design, development, Implementation and production support.
- Maintain program documentation
- Perform troubleshooting in all developed and procured applications (web & windows)
- Develops code as per the coding standards
- Peer code review, Team Mentoring
- Co-ordinate with other teams and user groups to remain updated on their queries and resolve them effectively
- Must have excellent communication and analytical skills, and an ability to think out-of-the-box.

TEAM RELATED:
Responsible for communications in a timely manner to direct reports and team members 

QUALIFICATION (Education):
Graduate or equivalent.  

DESIRED YEARS OF EXPERIENCE:  
 
Minimum 5 yrs relevant experience in
-      Experience with ETL & Reporting Frameworks is mandatory
-      Hands on experience in UI interface designing and BI presentation layer is mandatory
-      VB .Net, C# .Net, ASP .NET, .Net Framework 2.0/3.5/4.0, MS SQL Server 2000/2005.
Good knowledge in design and development of databases (SQL Server 2000/2005/2008, Oracle 10g, PLSQL, MS Access) 

DESIRED INDUSTRY EXPOSURE: 

Knowledge of data mining & data warehousing algorithms is a plus

 MANDATORY SKILLS / PROCESS ABILITIES
 
 Experience with ETL & Reporting Frameworks is mandatory
Hands on experience in UI interface designing and BI presentation layer is mandatory
