Business Development Manager - Sports Events Company - Mumbai/Delhi/Hyderabad/Bangalore/Ahmedabad


Designation: Business Development Manager - Children's Sports Event's company



Salary on offer: 

For Sr Executive: Rs 4 lacs to 5.50 lacs p.a + Sales Incentives
For Manager: Rs.6 lacs to Rs.8 lacs p.a + Sales Incentives

Locations: Delhi, Hyderabad, Bangalore and Ahmedabad.

The candidate will have significant experience in marketing & sales for the education industry (Schools, Other Academic Institutes) and is an assertive and results driven sales manager.

The purpose of the role is to primarily plan and implement sales and marketing activities in order to meet company targets for sustainable growth and increasing profitability in the territory.

Responsibilities include;

Job description

        Maintain, Identify, develop and create  a relationship with partner schools & probable partner schools, colleges Apartment complexes, state associations and sports bodies and corporate houses  for the programs, products, events and sports properties developed by the company.
        Contribute as the business development manager of the company targeting schools, colleges, apartment complexes, state associations, sports bodies and corporate houses.
        Plan and execute  the organization’s marketing activities across all mediums to achieve agreed targets and standards for existing and new clients
        Manage, motivate, assist and work with the coaching staff at each partner institution in building relationships with local sports and fitness bodies and institutions.
        Coordinate implementation of marketing strategy, including advertising and PR.
        Planning and implementation of sales and customer retention and development.

Required Skills/Knowledge

        A passion for sports
        Strong project management and event management skills, with a demonstrated ability to effectively manage multiple on-going projects
        Basic knowledge of Marketing, TV and digital sales, merchandising, sponsorship and communications
        Strategic thinker – able to shape, develop and execute the strategy for partner institutions
        Strong  and  persuasive negotiation skills
        A credible communicator, adept at operating at higher management level
        Commercially minded and results driven
        Excellent presentation skills
        Experience in sales and marketing is an advantage but not a requisite
        Excellent knowledge of Microsoft office
        Knowledge of creative development programs like photoshop, corel draw etc for advertisements and marketing initiatives is  a bonus

Educational Background Required

        BA (or equivalent) required. Will consider other graduates if relevant experience is found.
