Designation: Senior Sales Manager (SSM)

Locations: 2 openings, 1 - Mumbai, 1 - Bangalore

Job Description: The Senior Sales Manager is responsible for generating new business revenue within a city/ cluster. The SSM generates revenue through proactive lead generation and reactive selling as well as coaching and managing a team of ASMs (Area Sales Managers). The Senior Sales Manager must meet or exceed the sales targets/metrics, such as revenue targets, deal volumes, conversion ratios and calls/visits.

Reports to: Area Sales Director / Regional Sales Director

Key Responsibilities:

Pro- Active
√ Executes a call planning strategy aimed at: commercial property agents, 3rd party
contacts, local community networking, and developing local partnerships in order to
generate new business.
√ Acquires and develops a portfolio of local key accounts with the clear focus to generate
revenue streams across all products and services in both the local market, as well as
across the entire Regus network.
√ Grows business from existing customers (through referrals) to drive expansions and new
sales into other territories.
Re- Active
√ Drives high conversion of all products through effectively following the sales process,
ultimately resulting in a positive impact to the occupancy and profitability.
√ Meets or exceeds the sales targets/metrics, such as revenue targets, deal volumes,
conversion ratios and calls/visits.
√ Handles renewals / partners with centre teams on complex client renewals, as
directed.
People Management
√ Accountable for managing the sales performance of each team member, ensuring
maximized productivity and results; while providing consistent feedback, coaching,
training, and performance management, as needed.
√ Provides daily leadership, communicates strategic direction and manages the
execution of the sales team as it relates to: deal pricing, workstation optimization,
competition strategy, marketing plans, broker plans, etc.
√ Supports AD / RSD in recruiting, motivating and coaching a team of 3 - 4 ASMs, while
maintaining an active role in direct sales; setting an example of an aggressive pace
in goal achievement by personally working deals.
√ Acts as an extension of the training department by inducting and delivering sales drills
within the city/ cluster.
Administrative
√ Reports daily sales activity to target, as per Regus sales process.
√ Develops a high level of territory knowledge within all the following areas: competition,
industry segments, market segments, target companies
√ Ensures cohesive communication with field team in order to create a seamless transition
from the sales to the service sides of the business while maximizing profitability.
√ Orchestrates the business in a manner consistent with company operational standards
and brand promise.

Key Position Requirements:
√ Proven success as an Area Sales Manager or General Manager / in selling service
solutions through direct sales within a business-to-business (B2B) sales environment.
√ Leadership skills with a direct sales force in a business-to-business sales environment.
√ Experienced at developing, coaching and managing a high-performing sales team in a
competitive and result driven environment.
√ Experienced at presenting to groups of prospects.
√ Professional and clear communication skills coupled with the ability to network at high
level and build strong business relationships.
√ Proven objection handling, prospecting and negotiation skills.
√ 8+ years of work experience, in a similar role
√ Intermediate level of MS office; Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
√ College degree preferred
