Designation:  Head – Market Research

Position Requirements:

 • Head - Market Research will be responsible for all global market research activities including 
 competitive intelligence for both in-line and pipeline products
 • He/She shall be responsible for managing a small team of market research professionals.
 • He/she shall take the ownership of processes for the execution of global marketing 
 research, competitor intelligence, market intelligence and the management of generated 
 information
 • Planning, initiating, organizing, executing, surveying all global market research projects 
 (qualitative and quantitative) in close co-operation with stakeholders
• Accountable for the management of resources (human and budget) allocated to the 
department
• Take over special strategic projects
• Develops department objectives and timelines, and ensures these are met.

Salary:  10 to 15 lacs p.a

Qualifications:  - Bachelors with minimum 8 years of experience – Degree in marketing, market research, social sciences, statistics, textile or related, etc.

Experience: Atleast 8 to 10 years

Industry:  Market Research

Individual Profile:

High analytical skills for complex data aggregations
- Strong background in statistics and capability to run advanced statistical analysis with professional programs (e.g. with SPSS, SAS, R, Statgraphics)
- Advanced MS Office user and excellent knowledge of data management tools (e.g. MS Access, MS Excel including macro and VBA programming))
- Analytic thinker balanced with ability to recommend pragmatic/actionable on research results
- Outstanding competence to lead, inspire and support a team to achieve ambitious results
